LABORATORY AND COMPUTING FACILITIES

To enhance Research, Development and Innovation in academic institutions, MHRD is competitively funding 30 Centres of Excellence for world class research in thematic areas under Technical Quality Improvement Programme, TEQIP-II, a World Bank assisted Project. Department of EEE received Rs.5 Crores funds for establishing Centre of Excellence in Alternate Energy Research. The thematic area of excellence includes Wind and Solar Energy.

PROGRAMME OUTCOMES(POs)

PO1 An ability to independently carry out research /investigation and development work to solve practical problems.

PO2 An ability to write and present a substantial technical report/document

PO3 Students should be able to demonstrate a degree of mastery over the area as per the specialization of the program. The mastery should be at a level higher than the requirementsin the appropriate bachelor program

The Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs) of the department program in tune with the Vision and Mission of the department are:

PEO 1:
To enable the graduates to apply the principles of power electronics and drives and automation to solve electrical power utility problems

PEO 2:
To undertake innovative research in the emerging areas of electric drives system
