Programme Outcomes

PO1. To understand the concepts in thermal engineering and its application with ability to integrate the existing idea for the enhancement of knowledge.
PO2. To apply scientific rules, methods and logics to analyze common thermal engineering problems critically.
PO3. To identify complex thermal engineering problems and review the related information to evaluate the problem to find optimal solution considering safety, environment and other realistic constraints.
PO4. To demonstrate research skills to critically analyze and obtain solutions for complex thermal engineering problems with the help of literatures, appropriate methodologies, advanced tools and necessary experiments. 
PO5. To impart skills to use modern engineering tools, software and equipment to analyze and solve complex thermal engineering problems.
PO6. To understand group dynamics, recognize opportunities, self management and team work to contribute positively for multidisciplinary scientific research activities.
PO7. To acquire the knowledge of management principles and apply the same in multidisciplinary environment by considering the financial circumstance.
PO8. To demonstrate the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with a diverse team, as well as express complex concepts to a non-technical audience via effective presentations.
PO9. To commence the pursuit of knowledge for either personal or professional reasons continuously through “voluntary and self-motivated” manner.
PO10. To sensitize into environment management, eco-efficiency, labor standards and working conditions, employee and community relations, social equity, gender balance, human rights, good governance and anti-corruption measures.
PO11. To step back from their learning experience and make corrective actions as per the feedback and learn independently for continuous improvement
