APTITUDE TEST:
Several Sessions have been conducted by the placement representatives of the each batch to enhance the thinking and reasoning abilities of the students. The session have been handled by the representatives such that to enhance their speaking and presentation skills.
GROUP DISCUSSIONS:
To throw of the shyness and to make students overcome their fears, Group Discussions have been conducted side by side as Aptitude sessions. The group discussions have been conducted by experienced and trained faculties of Production Engineering Association along with their academic schedules. The domain experts and speakers from outside also have been invited to boost the confidence and familiarity among students.
TECHNICAL SEMINARS:
The placement cell have been conducting technical seminars from the past till date to improve the specific interpersonal skills such as public speaking, paper presentation , flow of language and absolute responses . The Guidance has been given to the students by the professors of Production Engineering Department. Technical seminars are acting as a bridge of communication between experienced professors and skillful students.
MOCK INTERVIEW:
The initiative has been taken by GCT Alumni Association. As a first step resumes of the students have been collected by the placement representatives to segregate according to their profiles. The Mock interview has been conducted by a team of alumni and Non-alumni volunteers. Thus it provides a platform to the students to overcome their fear over interviews and provide exposure towards industry expectations.
EMPLOYABILITY SKILL TRAINING:
The training has been organized by our college and conducted by well training experts from outside. The program enhances and improves the soft skills of the students which includes personality development, speaking, presentations , technical and non technical knowledge. It is being conducted on a yearly basis for the students.
