i. POWER SYSTEM LABORATORY
Power Systems Laboratory is equipped with many advanced Apparatuses and devices to conduct important tests on power systems, starting from generation unit with control panel and protection equipment passing through the transmission lines to the load units with power factor correction panel.

This programme is very keen about creating the ambiance for the learners. All the laboratories are established with the equipments and softwares as per the AICTE norms. The equipments procured are effectively utilized for research and development, testing and consultancy works. Faculty, Research Scholars and Post Graduate students are utilizing the facilities in the laboratories for their research and project work

CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE-ALTERNATE ENERGY RESEARCH (CoE-AER)
To enhance Research, Development and Innovation in academic institutions, MHRD is competitively funding 30 Centres of Excellence for world class research in thematic areas under Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP-II), a World Bank funded Project. The department has established Centre of Excellence for Alternate Energy Research under TEQIP phase – II with fund of Rs.5 crores and TEQIP phase – III with fund of Rs.1.5 crores.
